Es un grupo instrumental irland\u00e9s, en concreto de su capital, Dubl\u00edn. Los hermanos Niels y Torsten forman la banda conocida como God Is An Astronaut. En marzo del siguiente a\u00f1o lanzan su primer disco The End of the Beginning en su propia compa\u00f1\u00eda discogr\u00e1fica Revive Records. El video que nombra el disco es transmitido por MTV en el Reino Unido y su segundo video \u00abFrom Dust to the Beyond\u00bb con un alto contenido antib\u00e9lico, es tambi\u00e9n transmitido por MTV en Inglaterra y a lo largo de Europa.<\/p>\n<p>En 2005 lanzan su segundo material discogr\u00e1fico All is Violent, All is Bright en donde la banda transforma la serena atm\u00f3sfera del primer disco, en alterante intensidad incendiaria. El video de \u00abFragile\u00bb es transmitido por MTV en el show de 120 minutos y Countdown. Con el nuevo disco, entra el nuevo baterista Lloyd Hanney, quien fue entrenado por Johnny Wadham, una leyenda percusionista del jazz y que le da una mirada m\u00e1s cercana a la representaci\u00f3n de su sonido en vivo.<\/p>\n<p>God Is An Astronaut es considerada por muchos la actuaci\u00f3n en directo m\u00e1s intensa que ha surgido de Irlanda en los \u00faltimos tiempos. Adem\u00e1s de la calidad de su m\u00fasica, el contenido audio\/visual en sus presentaciones es controversial y fascinante para la audiencia, una experiencia astral. Actualmente promocionan su EP A Moment of Stillness que fue lanzado a inicios de 2006.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Esto que pongo al final es una emisora de artistas similares a este, pero que si quer\u00e9is pod\u00e9is ver directamente en last.fm sin ning\u00fan problema.
